Eco-team plant two hundred trees

On Tuesday afternoon the Eco-action group returned to the Lickey end nature reserve to continue the maintenance of the site. On a gloriously sunny afternoon the pupils planted around two hundred trees. The aim of the project was to create a natural barrier using Hazel, Hawthorn, Blackthorn and Holly to manage the access routes for visitors to the site. It was super to return to the site in spring and see the change in the reserve through the seasons. The Marsh Marigolds and Lesser Celandine were particularly pretty in the sunshine. Well done to Ed Mooney, Dan Moore, Harry Ruben and Yunni Wu who worked hard on the project.
