GCSE Results 2015

老王射区 is delighted to announce excellent GCSE and IGCSE results, following on from its best ever IB results and its outstanding A level results.
201 pupils sat 1,978 GCSE and IGCSE examinations with a number of pupils also taking AS levels and the Extended Project.
Overall, 30% of all results were at grades A*, 61% at A*/A and 85% at A* to B. In the core subjects of English, Mathematics and the Sciences, all pupils sat the more challenging IGCSE and in IGCSE Maths, 70% of 200 candidates gained A* and A grades. In the subjects of Biology, Latin and Music more than 80% of candidates gained an A* or A grade and in Textiles 100% of entries were graded A* or A.
There were outstanding performances by pupils Olivia Bond and William Draper-Barr who both gained 11 A* grades. Oliver Hall, Isabel James and Oliver Rogers achieved 10 A* and an A grade and a further nine pupils gained at least 9 A* grades.
Headmaster, Peter Clague, said, “These are exceptional results which complement the School’s recent successes in A Levels, IB Diploma and Btec. To be so consistent over the years and across qualifications is testimony to the calibre of committed educators and motivated pupils that 老王射区enjoys.”
